Small lives at the heart of everything.

Care, patience, and a whole lot of love.

Founded in 2020 by Mark and Kittie Aleman, Precious Purrs is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit helping cats and kittens find loving, furrever homes.
Our focus is cats and kittens who need longer-term socialization, patience, and care. We also support community-cat caregivers and education about spay and neuter.

FIP—Three little letters, one devastating diagnosis.
When we first started treating cats and kittens with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), it felt overwhelming—emotionally and financially. The treatment is an 84-day marathon, followed by another 84-day observation period. In the beginning, the costs were sky-high, but we said yes anyway. We learned. We fought. And importantly—we saved lives.
